VOSIEDA Values, Attitudes, And Behaviors

Integrity | Trust one another

We prize honesty, respect, and trust in our relationships. For this reason, we have an uncompromising commitment to ethical behavior and make every decision with integrity.

Excellence | Exceed expectations

We demand of ourselves the highest technical and professional standards. We celebrate innovation, learning, and service.

Good Governance | Pursue ethical standards

We ensure transparency and accountability in our activities, conduct, and performance, including disclosing our funding sources and accounts. We operate in full compliance with the governing laws and ethical standards in all places we work.

Equality | Zero Tolerance for discriminations

We apply equality and non-discrimination with everybody we work with and for, ensuring respect for all people regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or another status.

Partnerships | Building alliances and encouraging participation

We are committed to working in partnerships, believing that we will better achieve our vision through cooperation rather than competition.

New opportunities | Thinking beyond extreme poverty

We use innovation and creativity to break the dependency circle and poverty mindsets in West Africa. We are not afraid to explore new strategies intended to disrupt traditional poverty programs and achieve individual and better results.

Empowering the Poor Beyond the Poverty Lines

The COVID 19 outbreak, conflicts, and natural disasters have shattered livelihoods in Liberia and many communities across the Mano River Basin Region. VODSIEDA and partners are designing interventions that alleviate immediate needs while promoting the transition to sustainable recovery, building more resilient and inclusive communities, and contributing to crisis prevention.
